These questions aren't actually asked frequently (since I'm just starting this site and there's no one here lol), but I think you get the idea.
If you're so good w/themes, why is this place so spartan? 
I like to keep it simple. Plus I've just got too much other stuff to do. But thinking about it, I kind of like it nice and ugly like this and probably won't make too many changes.
Do you make Tiny Portal compatible themes? Yes. In your Theme request thread, just indicate whether or not you want it TP-compatible.
How much does a custom theme cost? Custom themes cost $60 USD payable via PayPal or credit card. With this, you get complete customization and 3 custom-made badges - Admin, Mod, and G Mod that will help add some zest to your site. More custom icons or custom banners will cost a little extra, depending on what you want. We can also refer you to a friend's site who does some amazing graphics work in exchange for forum participation. If the theme you want is very basic (meaning, no bg images at all) the price may be lower. All this is flexible and don't worry, you won't get a surprise charge or anything.
Isn't $60 a little high considering I can get lots of nice themes from $30 
When I was first starting w/smf, I would've killed for a theme that looked the way
I wanted it to look and that would take mods w/no problem. I understand that there are a lot of nice themes out there for free and for under $60, but there are few based completely on default and fewer that will walk through the whole development of the theme with you with such patience
and include some custom badges (I think those are really cool). If you're looking for something less inexpensive, might I suggest one of our pre-made themes. I can also refer you to a few places w/some nice pre-mades. <-- most of these however will not be completely based on default.
Will you resell my custom Theme? No way. Part of what's nice about a custom theme is that it's made for you and
you alone. I will not resell your theme unless you give express permission. Accordingly, some of the themes you might find on the site will not be for sale (unless original purchaser gives permission).
Are all the Themes on-site completed? No. There will be many that you see that will be in the process of being created. As soon as I begin a theme, it will be available for everyone to see and use while you're here. If you want to know if a Theme is finished or being developed, just ask.
